Finally, this will provide your customers with a personalized experience based on information such as their location, interests, and preferences such as device and social media platform of choice.

3. Respond to Changes and Innovation with Feedback:

Customer insights must be used to alter the status quo within your company.

According to Brian Honigman of Sprout Social, ConAgra Foods listened to customer feedback after discontinuing “easy-to-open pop-top lids from all of its Chef Boyardee canned pasta.”

Customers were upset by the change and expressed their displeasure on social media. ConAgra clearly heard the message and reinstated the pop-top lids.

At the end of the day, you’re creating the best product for your customers. Your market will let you know if the product is not a good fit. It is then entirely up to you whether you can pivot in order to better serve your customers.

The concept of pivoting and iterating your product on a regular basis will spark innovation. Just remember to keep your customers in mind as you implement these changes.

4. Intelligence Predictive:

“ Finally, use your understanding of your customer and knowledge of your own business/field to predict what type of actions will occur,” says Adobe’s Bruce Swann. Then all you have to do is act in accordance with those predictions.

When you begin collecting data on your customers, it is critical to carefully analyze this information. You can actually use this data to forecast future consumer trends or attitudes.

Many companies create complex algorithms that are designed to recognize patterns in data and can assist you in making sense of it all. If you use these predictions correctly, you will save a lot of time and money, and you may even save your business.
