Open Position: Assistant Folio Editor at Anomaly

Anomaly is looking for an Assistant Folio Editor, to work with current Folio Editor Zebulon Wimsatt on the production of featured folios. Anomaly typically publishes three featured folios in each of our twice-annual issues. The Folio Editor and Assistant Folio Editor work with guest editors whose folio proposals have been accepted by the journal, and assists these guest editors in all stages of production of featured folios.

With the Folio Editor, the Assistant Folio Editor will coordinate with guest editors to schedule the production of featured folios, enter content into the journal website using the WordPress content management system, send out author proofs, and make changes and corrections as necessary.

The ideal candidate will be interested in and open to eventually assuming duties as a Folio Co-Editor. Anomaly is committed to actively seeking out and promoting the work of marginalized and underrepresented artists, including especially Black, Indigenous, people of color, disabled, neurodivergent, women, queer, trans, and gender nonconforming artists, and artists outside of the US, and encourage applications from these artists for this position!
