What is Keplr wallet and how to delegate via Keplr?

Keplr is a simple, open-source browser extension wallet for the Cosmos interchain ecosystem. The wallet provides flexible and versatile account management and wallet functionalities for all Cosmos-SDK-based blockchains. Keplr wallet currently supports Cosmos Hub, Kava, Secret Network, Akash, etc…

Visit 🔗 https://wallet.keplr.app/#/dashboard 🔗 and if you currently do not have Keplr web-extension installed, you can click on the message and follow the link to 🔗 Chrome web-extension 🔗.

After you have web-extension you are offered several options on how to proceed from here on. You can sign with your Google account which is supported via Torus and you can create or import an account.

How to delegate Akash ($AKT) via Keplr?

  1. Create a Keplr account which will be used for your assets by saving mnemonic seeds to a safe location. Choose your account name and password. Press “Next”.
  2. Insert your mnemonic phrases to fail to check if you saved them then press “Register”
  3. On your web extension open your Akash address and press “Deposit” to check your $AKT address
  4. On Keplr’s dashboard proceed to “Stake” and choose “Akash” on right side-bar
  5. Choose “Anonstake” or any desired validator from the list and press “Delegate”
1. Create/ Import your account by saving and then entering your mnemonic phrases. | 2. Navigate to the list of validator and find “Anonstake” validator node

6. Insert the delegation amount and press “Delegate”

7. On your web-extension pop-up set fee and press “Set fee”

8. Check the details of delegation transaction and press “Approve”

9. Check delegation was successful! 🎊 Navigate to “Stake” and “Akash” where your chosen validator should be seen at the top of the list!
