Bruno Simon’s Portfolio–Portfolio

An insane WebGL portfolio by creative developer Bruno Simon. You use a truck to navigate a field where you’ll be able to see some of his work, play bowling, jump in ramps, and simply destroy things. Buckle up, turn the sound ON, and get inspired ASAP!

Jade Purple Brown–Illustrator

Jade Purple Brown is a fantastic color-obsessed visual artist. She uses Graphic Design, Illustration, and Art Direction to create content for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. Using bold blocks of color and influential female figures, Jade creates dynamic artwork that encourages herself and others to be more optimistic and free.

Spectrum, Adobe’s Design System–Design Systems

Explore the new design system that Adobe is starting to implement in their apps. I find it especially amazing how they’re building it to work on all platforms. The big and chunky controls work great on both desktop and mobile, creating a consistent experience across devices.

You can see the system fully adopted in their new version of Lightroom, and their new apps Fresco and Premiere Rush. Legacy software like Photoshop and Illustrator are still using some of the old UI, but you can see hints of the new stuff in some of their windows, icons, and flows. I suppose they are slowly rolling out the changes, so they don’t freak out their core users. And perhaps the chunky controls and ample spacing don’t work as well in such complicated interfaces.

You can download the UI Kits, icons, and fonts in their resources. A great way to learn how other design teams make pixels and vectors do their bidding.

Tool

Screen Size Map

An interactive map of popular screen sizes, illustrating the responsive and adaptive device landscape. You can filter the sizes by popularity. It’s crazy to see how the 360x640 size is the most used — phones that use this size are Samsung Galaxy S6, S5, and S4, Motorola RZOr, HTC One, and others.

Game

Can You Draw a Perfect Circle?

If you wanna waste some time trying to draw a perfect circle with your mouse or trackpad… please, play this game. My best score was 94.7%, can you beat that? (the screenshot is my proof, yo!)
