We came, we saw, we conquered, we connected.

If you told me a year ago that I would be doing live interviews at CONNECT, I would’ve run. When I first started at MuleSoft a little over a year ago, I immediately took over our social channels. At first, I was worried our audience would see past my non-technical background and reject my posts. Spoiler alert, I was wrong.

After the initial nerves settled, I saw this as an opportunity to build the bridge between a super technical product like MuleSoft, and those who aren’t that technical, like me. MuleSoft does empower everyone, with clicks not code. It’s not just a slogan; it’s facts. I started with playful memes and showcasing our products in a new light. I clearly underestimated the power of our audience and they accepted me how I am, non-technical, silly posts and all.

Fast forward a year later, and I’m doing live interviews for our LinkedIn channel. I’m fortunate enough to have a team that trusts me and a community that accepts me. I would be remiss if I didn’t attribute my growth to the people around me, like our Muleys. Thank you to everyone who has helped me grow and gain confidence.

Speaking of growing and learning, I got to chat with the integration influencers. Make some noise for Matt McLarty, Global Field CTO & VP of the Digital Transformation Office at MuleSoft, Jason Estevan, Founder/ CEO of EsteSolutions, and Diane Kesler, CEO of Integration Quest! In this interview we discuss, what’s going on with the state of integration.

Whether you’re just starting off in your integration journey or you’re a seasoned pro, get to know our integration influencers. Matt McLarty hosts APIs Unplugged, a podcast full of actionable insights for the API economy. Jason Estevan is a software engineer specializing in API Development using MuleSoft Technologies, check out his YouTube channel! Diane Kesler, one of the nicest people I have ever met, is the CEO of Integration Quest and a Women Who Mule member. Women Who Mule is a group dedicated to providing a space for women developers and architects to network share their MuleSoft expertise, work on career development, and more. Watch it on LinkedIn or on our Twitch channel!

I admire their dedication to helping our community learn and grow. It’s truly inspiring to hear them talk about how passionate they are about creating the right connections. If you haven’t already, check out our interviews on our MuleSoft and MuleSoft Community LinkedIn!
