MuleSoft Community 2022 Year in Review
I know we say this a lot, but 2022 was the best year yet in the MuleSoft Community. We mean it! From opportunities to meet our MuleSoft Community Leaders in person at various events to record-breaking content creation, there is so much 2022 goodness to celebrate.
We broke records
The MuleSoft Meetups program beat our yearly number of events record hosting a whopping 506 Meetups around the world! Did we also mention these events brought together over 65,000 MuleSoft users? MuleSoft Meetups are the best way to get involved if you are new to the MuleSoft Community. We have over 180+ groups located in local cities as well as entirely online. If you are just getting started or looking to improve your MuleSoft skills, you can find events for all levels. We also have interest and industry based groups! Join a group today.
We introduced MuleSoft Community Conferences
In 2022, our EMEA and LATAM communities created two amazing conferences featuring 40+ speakers in 5 languages with over 1,100+ attendees in 56 different countries. MuleSoft Community Conferences are the perfect opportunity for local communities to learn and share in their local language as well as network with others in their region. Mariana Lemus shared her perspective on what it takes to run an international conference.
We rocked our Muley pride
This past year, the MuleSoft Community rocked their Muley pride at TDX22, Dreamforce22, MuleSoft CONNECT, and various World Tours. 35+ Muley speakers spread their love, passion, and knowledge of MuleSoft. We even won 2 coveted Golden Hoodies with MuleSoft Ambassadors Miguel Martinez and Nisha Sharma shining on keynote stages across TDX, MuleSoft CONNECT, and Dreamforce. But, we can’t forget the most legendary Muley parade ever (so far… let’s see what we can do in 2023).
We fell in love with automation
The jelly to our peanut butter, the key to our lock, automation is our new best friend. With the introduction and expansion of MuleSoft Composer and RPA, we welcomed Admins and Business Users into the MuleSoft Community. Now, you can connect with over 2500+ users on Trailhead, earn new badges, and reach out to one of our 150 MuleSoft Mentors who are exploring automation too.
We gave back to our local communities
Giving back is the center of the MuleSoft Community and many of our leaders went above and beyond to give back to their local communities. They donated time to elementary schools, universities, local forums, and more to help certify HUNDREDS of new MuleSoft Developers and Architects.
We championed our Women Who Mule
The Women Who Mule sparkled in 2022! Founder and AMER WWM Leader Nisha Sharma was awarded a Golden Hoodie at Dreamforce22 and participated in an interview with MuleSoft CEO Brent Hayward. Across AMER, EMEA, and JAPAC, more than 2500 women support each other as they grow their careers in the MuleSoft ecosystem. We inspired others
Blogs, YouTubes, GitHub repos, oh my! The MuleSoft Community Leaders created 5000+ new pieces of content to educate and inspire others in the MuleSoft ecosystem. Their content spans across platforms, experience levels, and Anypoint Platform features.
We became authors
If you can’t tell by reading this blog, we started Another Integration Blog on Medium. Surprise! Over 70 MuleSoft Community Leaders added “author” to their resumes and create top-notch content. We are always looking for new authors! Submit your blog today.
We went live!
There’s something about in-the-moment mess ups, unfiltered filming, and screaming into microphones so people can hear you that just gets the people going. So… we created MuleSoft Community Twitch streams to bring live action from events, tutorial mishaps, and the MuleSoft Community team at their worst (I mean best) angles. Did you know we go live every Tuesday/Thursday featuring the community? You can also catch all 90 of our streams on our channel. Special kudos to anyone who can tell us how many times we say “awesome.”
