A look back on the MuleSoft Community’s first Dreamforce Tour
Just when you thought the magic of Dreamforce couldn’t stretch any further, 14 speakers across 13 cities participated in the first-of-its-kind MuleSoft Community Dreamforce ’22 Tour! That’s right; we brought the band back together again to take their unique and insightful content (and talents) to the masses.
A couple of weeks after the conference ended, our Dreamforce speakers took the virtual stage one last time to bring their sessions to a city near you. Not only were these community-led sessions some of the most popular at Dreamforce, but they were also in high demand from our broader MuleSoft Community. Over seven days, the community held 11 events across 13 cities, reaching nearly 1,000 attendees.

Event Sourcing
Kicking off our Dreamforce ’22 Tour was the one and only Jayshree Gohil, who took us through Event Sourcing using MuleSoft via the Toronto Meetup Group. It was an excellent opportunity to hear first hand how Blackberry used MuleSoft for event sourcing to help its organization meet business needs.
MuleSoft RPA
Having just launched in August 2022, MuleSoft RPA sessions at Dreamforce were in high demand! And the RPA sessions presented via the Community Tour were no exception. These sessions packed a full house and were represented by some of our best automation industry leaders, Gaurav Kheterpal and Tobias Stein. They presented at the Mysore and Manchester Meetup Groups, respectively. Check out how you can get started with MuleSoft RPA and solve the last mile business problem below.
Crush Data Silos
Here at MuleSoft, we say “no” to siloed data, but Awesome Admin Jen Cole takes it further by crushing those data silos. Check out how she eliminates silos and untangles her data spaghetti by using MuleSoft Composer and Salesforce Flow — the ultimate dynamic duo.
MuleSoft 🤝 Slack
Rockstar Dreamforce speaker and MuleSoft Mentor Connor Fitzgerald took a walk on the wild side by sharing everyday workflows demonstrating how business users can execute actions such as approvals or status checks via Slack messages — no developer needed. Speaking of Slack, Rolando Carrasco took us through a real-life scenario in the Mexico City Group where Slack and MuleSoft allowed him to build an assistant to get information from Salesforce and insert more data through a conversational UI and voice commands in Spanish.
All About Observability
Manik did it again! He brought down the house in our Online English Group with one of the most attended sessions of our tour, Architecting Integrations for Observability. Observability is a critical attribute of software design that gives you control over systems by proactively monitoring datasets like metrics, logs, health, and traces. Texas Dreamforce Rodeo Meetup
Last but certainly not least, we wrapped things up with the Texas Dreamforce Meetup, which combined three amazing groups (Austin, Dallas, and Houston) into one mega meetup.
There was no shortage of engaging content here. Simone Geib kicked things off by previewing a demo of Anypoint Code Builder, and Pooja Kamath led us through her Tableau and MuleSoft Session (one of the most “favorited” sessions at Dreamforce). Then Jim Andrews, Miguel Martinez, Pooja Kamath, and Raj Pandey took some time to discuss their takeaways from Dreamforce 2022 and revealed some of their favorite moments. Finally, ending the session on an incredibly high note, Jim and Pooja announced the arrival of their brand new podcast, Bits That Bind! Check out their first episode below.
