Based in the United States (US), Kindur is a wealth management platform that helps baby boomers embrace modern retirement. The team has opened a dedicated hotline to provide Social Security advice in light of the recent 1,200 field office closures in the US. London-based Wollit champions financial wellness for flexible workers and aims to ease the financial strain specifically for gig economy workers in the United Kingdom (UK). As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the team at Wollit has fast-tracked the release of their Income Promise service, which provides customers with an interest-free cash top-up whenever they earn less than their average monthly income. Based in the UK, Chronomics is pioneering in the epigenetic health service space. Chronomics is offering a COVID-19 risk calculator, which can be accessed here. Additionally, the team is developing a symptom checker. Learn more.

The San Francisco-based Patchd team is using wearable technology to predict and prevent sepsis. In light of the pandemic, the team is providing an app to help hospitalized COVID-19 patients communicate better with healthcare workers to help minimize patient contact and reduce waste in personal protective equipment. Drone insurer Flock has joined the fight against the virus by pledging £10,000-worth of free drone insurance to pilots working on COVID-19 crisis responses in the UK. Learn more here.

Based in France, market data provider Kaiko is focused on the blockchain-based digital assets space. In light of COVID-19, Kaiko is offering two months’-worth of enterprise market data for free to support businesses. Learn more about the offer here.

Business banking service Tide supports SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) across the UK. The coronavirus has had a significant impact on small businesses globally. In response to the pandemic, Tide has created a digital knowledge center for its customers and has applied to be an accredited lender with the UK government’s Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS).
