2021’s Best Cruise Destinations — Anthony Karabon

Many of the world’s top cruise destinations are waiting to be explored in 2021. From natural wonders and exotic locales, visitors will have the chance to see and experience many wonderful things when they book a cruise that includes stops at the best places. Visiting any of these destinations as part of a cruise this year can make a trip at sea even more enjoyable.

Alaska’s Inside Passage

As the cruise ship travels through the calm waterways of this coastal part of Alaska, people can view fjords and rainforests along the rugged coastline. Spectacular glaciers that look like giant ice crystals can also be seen throughout this region. At some stops along the route, visitors are given opportunities to take helicopter or kayaking tours to witness even more of the wonders of Alaska’s Inner Passage.

The Greek Islands

The country of Greece consists of the mainland and many islands that can be explored during a cruise. Some of the best islands to visit during a cruise include Mykonos, Hydra, and Zakynthos. Santorini is famous for its bright white buildings that stand out even more beautifully in contrast to the blue water surrounding them and the frequent sunshine. Some of these islands feature natural inlets that are ideal for swimming and open-air tavernas that serve various foods and beverages.

The Galapagos Islands

Home to some of the world’s most unique wildlife, the Galapagos Islands can offer nature lovers many beautiful experiences. These islands, which are part of Ecuador, are located just over 500 miles off the mainland, feature various sea lions, iguanas, and even some tropical penguins. The male blue-footed booby, known for its bright blue feet, is a sight to see. People aboard cruise ships that travel to this archipelago may even get the chance to see some monster tortoises on the beaches or swimming in the water.

The Cayman Islands

Many cruise ships travel around Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac while touring the Grand Cayman Islands. The blue and turquoise seawater and white-sand beaches found at these islands help create the perfect tropical paradise. The water surrounding these islands is also known for its colorful tropical fish and stingrays that often swim near the surface.

These cruise destinations can help enhance any trip and can make spending time away from home more exciting. With all the beautiful things found at these locations, it’s no wonder why so many cruise ships choose to stop at these places along their routes.
