After hearing feedback from the Carnegie Museum of Natural History visitors that they favored targeting the older age group and thought the collaboration aspect of the board game was really good, Carlie and Chen decided to play test the very basic version of this game that I’d produced within the last half week or so. It was definitely very interesting to see other people’s interpretations of the rules that I’d defined so far primarily on a high level. It was also enlightening to see where they thought certain aspects were too confusing/unnecessary.

List of notes/questions jotted on the board while playing

Partially based off the comments by the members of the Children’s Hospital we chatted with two days earlier, we brainstormed various ways to waterproof a board game so it could be properly cleaned and used within the hospital. At the end of this meeting, we split apart to brainstorm improv games (with the goals to create empathy, utilize social interactions, and cut down on health worries). Ultimately we didn’t end up going with that.
