A poem of dreamtime flying, corresponding to the oral cues and illustration of Richard R., 4th grade, Poets-in-the-Schools.
Richard is an airplane spotter,
out in every kind of weather —
he knows aircraft by sound and by sight.
But now Richard finds himself in a dither:
Is that a rocket? a meteorite?
a blimp? a missile? a satellite?
After quibbles about the hazy subject,
he scribbles: Unidentified Ugly Object.
