Antics of Dream Flyers

Panoramic

--

A poem of dreamtime flying, corresponding to the oral cues and illustration of Yvonne S., Learning Disability class, Poets-in-the-Schools.

Yvonne’s dad said, “Goodnight.”
Her mom said, “Sleep tight.”

Brother Bobby warned her,
“Don’t let the bedbugs bite.”

That’s why Y. became a butterfly
on a migratory flight:

Ohio to Colorado, Idaho to Mexico.
What an adventure! Out of sight!
