We started the journey on making 12 games in only 12 months in the beginning of october 2018. The first game SquareSpinner (App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/squarespinner/id1436851786?mt=8 and Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manomanogames.squarespinner) was released very soon and was a very basic game. We got around 50 downloads the first month (October), which was expected.

We didn’t do any marketing on that game because the main goal for that game was just to release something.

We quickly started developing our next game, Zmath. Zmath is a fun twist on the classical Snake game we all know and love. Instead of eating food, you have to solve a math equation and eat the correct answer with your snake.

We released the game on Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=games.antisocial.smath) in the beginning of November and sent it for review for the App Store (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zmath/id1441670007) at the same time. The review process took around 17 days, so it was not released until the end of November.

The number of downloads we got in November was around the same as in October. Since Zmath wasn’t released until the end of November, we didn’t do much marketing for the game in that month.

December will probably be the best month when it comes to downloads for Zmath.

The next game

We are still going strong with our challenge, so the next game is soon finished and ready to be sent for review. I’m hoping the review process will be shorter this time so it can be released before christmas.
