Lagrange.AI is creating a single source of truth for supply chain data
Lagrange.AI is a B2B startup that integrates supply chain data and creates a single source of truth to empower supply chain professionals with data-driven decision-making.
The AI-driven platform, automatically sources, collects, and models supply chain data from enterprise management systems in a scalable manner.
Supply chain professionals can use pre-built modules to create a structured supply chain data warehouse, design data processing, and analytics workflows, and deploy the results as a dashboard for real-time analysis in a cost-effective way.
Lagrange.AI was launched by co-founders Aghil Rezaei Somarin and Hassan Mirzahosseinian while working with Antler, during which time the business also secured Pre-Seed investment from the early-stage VC.
“This team is very coachable, competent, and experienced,” says Anthony Millet, Global Partner at Antler.
“Together they have over 20 years of consulting and R&D experience in supply chain management across industries and know exactly what their customers need as well as where competitors fall short.
“With supply chain data becoming increasingly fragmented, information is being trapped in functional silos with no standard structure to organise them. The quality of this data is poor and it usually requires a team to process it so that it can be turned into actionable insights.
“Not only that, Covid-19 exposed just how many points of disconnections there are within current systems including supply chains, forcing companies to now focus on supply chain digitisation to improve resiliency and visibility.
“Lagrange.AI is working on a bespoke integration and analytics solution for the supply chain to enable professionals in this field to design, develop and deploy supply chain digital twins in days instead of months.”
“Lack of visibility causes up to US$179 million loss for companies every year, and the global system integration market size reached around US$330 billion in 2020 with a projected growth rate of 8.5%,” says Mirzahosseinian.
“Additionally, we see a rise in API-first SaaS supply chain solutions. This creates an even more decentralised supply chain and there is a need for an integration solution that facilitates the interoperability among these point solutions.
“We are developing an AI-driven platform to automatically source, collect, and model supply chain data in a scalable manner. Using our domain knowledge, we develop pre-built modules to create a structured supply chain data warehouse to facilitate system interoperability and analytics. The platform has real-time data processing capability to automatically integrate and clean data in real-time and in a cost-effective way.”
“To develop and test their solution, Lagrange.AI has secured a 100K POC with the first customer a specialty chemical supplier and manufacturer with a leading position in supplying products to the building and construction industry, and has signed an NDA with its second customer — a 3PL logistics company,” says Millet.
