It’s 2024, and AI feels as if it has completely taken hold of the content we see on the Internet. Especially the written content.

The ads we’ve been enduring for years, the recommended content, and the trends we see now and then are all a result of intelligent algorithms and AI. It's overwhelming to think about.

Every single company and corporation is riding this AI tech wave. Some companies are even killing themselves, as if they’ll come out of its ashes like a Phoenix.

It’s an interesting case; can you give me an example of one that’s doing so? (Hint: it’s a question-and-answer website)

There once used to be a time when we wrote on the Internet to impress the algorithm. A happy algorithm meant more reach. More reach meant an even happier algorithm, and this cycle continued. But no more.

There’s no good place where quality is valued more than quantity, except for a few. More content means more ad spaces, and therefore more revenue for the companies.

You can’t get more views by marketing yourself or churning out a limitless amount of content. You’re a human, not a robot.

How not to market yourself
