The idea for a leash board was a no-brainer for Mike and Kim, the husband-and-wife team behind Words with Boards. Their dogs, Freddie and Sammie, come to work with them everyday. The ingredients list for these crunchy treats lists just one item: chicken. Baked in a commercial kitchen in New York City, these dog treats are made from antibiotic- and hormone-free chicken breast (all hatched and ethically raised in the USA). It comes with a nonskid pad too.
10. Butterfly Dog Toys from Hoadin
Handmade in Norwalk, CT, these perky Butterfly Dog Toys are made of waxed canvas that only get better with age. They’re also easy to clean — just wipe off slobber and dirt with a little water. The toys, which come in two sizes and assorted accent colors, are filled with corn-based fiberfill. (The larger-size butterfly contains a squeaker.)
