Vivv Debuts New Features

AOL Alpha’s recently released photo and video editing app, Vivv, just got a reboot. Vivv is a free app for iOS that allows users to easily snap, edit and share photos or videos. The newest version of Vivv now has the ability to edit existing pictures on your phone, as well as delete additional color you don’t want in photographs.
One of the coolest things about Vivv from it’s inception is that you can start editing pictures or videos in real time before you take the photograph or shoot the video. Vivv allows users to choose colors in the frame and isolate one or multiple colors to make stunning and artistic pictures or videos. Multiple filters are offered for photos or videos in the app. Once photos or videos are taken they save to your phone and are easy to share on social media or in messages.
The idea for Vivv was conceived by one of the senior software engineers at Alpha. Awais Choudhary dreamed and built a beta version of the app and presented it to Alpha Director, Drew Lesicko, who immediately loved the app and knew the team at Alpha could help bring it to life. “This app has been widely accepted by iOS users because it does something that other apps aren’t doing and has a clean and easy to use user interface that people have been loving. We’re excited to release great updates for Vivv and soon release an Android version,” said Lesicko.
Vivv originally launched in December 2015 and is available for free in the App Store. The Alpha team invites you to download the app for free in the App Store today. Snap and share your vivid memories today using #Vivv and follow Vivv on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
