The Ape In Migration Goes Live!

Happy migration day Apes, the time is upon us! The Migration will occur in two phases with NFTs migrated first and APEIN tokens second with details regarding the APEIN claim portal released early next week. To facilitate your NFT migration from Ethereum to Avalanche, please follow the below listed steps:

Phase 1: NFT Migration

1. Create your Metamask C-Chain wallet and make sure you have enough AVAX to pay for gas fees (1 AVAX will be more than enough to pay for all of your Migration fees and then some).
2. Go to https://avax.ape.in and enter Ape Island. Once you’ve entered, connect your C-Chain wallet
3. After you’ve connected your C-Chain wallet, find and click the “Migrate” button on the top right-hand side of the Ape Island display bar.
4. Once you’ve clicked “Migrate”, a drop-down menu will appear under the heading, “Select Your Apes To Migrate” — click the drop down and select the Ape In Season you’d like to migrate. Once you’ve selected your season, your Apes will auto populate on the right-hand side of your screen.
5. Select the Apes you’d like to migrate, hit the button at the bottom of the Ape window, and your Apes will immediately begin their journey from Ethereum to Avalanche!
6. Once the process is complete, all of your Ethereum Apes will be migrated to your C-Chain wallet and viewable in the Ape In Gallery or through NFTrade.

You’ll notice that your Ethereum Apes have been re-named — while Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are still in play, all migrated apes will henceforth be known as “OG Apes” (OG Season 1, OG Season 2, OG Season 3, OG Offspring). We’ll be working diligently to open the various OG Ape Vaults before the end of the week so everyone can get back to earning that sweet APEIN.
