The Lore of Jungle Rumble & The Adventures of Captain Nape
Before there was a Yield Team 6, there was a distressed captain running through a mysterious Jungle and two armored Apes that hustled him to safety. This bedraggled captain befriended his rescuers and, together, the three fought their way through hordes of rabid attackers and eventually found their way off the Rumbling Island. Jungle Rumble is a prequel to Captain Nape’s adventures with Yield Team 6 — it’s a prequel to his discovery and settlement of the great Ape Island.
To help tell this sweeping epic, we’ve decided to create a running narrative series that we’re calling The Adventures of Captain Nape. We plan to release one chapter per month with small snippets of each chapter released every Friday through Discord. We won’t be posting these chapters anywhere else, so make sure to join the community if you want to find out what happens next!
Through The Adventures of Captain Nape, we’ll be introducing you to a host of motley characters, the entire crew of Yield Team 6, and, most importantly, to the wide world of Motu.
