Hello everyone! Let’s get straight to the point because we have a lot to share. AGAIN! First on the agenda: Hug or Punt a Dood! 😱
Many of you’ve already been sharing photos and videos of yourselves enjoying our Dood and Bood plushies, and we absolutely love seeing them! Previously, we accepted these submissions as bounties on our Discord. 👀 However, we now want to extend this event beyond our community and showcase the silly endeavors of our doods while spreading the good word of Apeiron to the rest of the world. ✨
Starting now, you can share your submissions of our adorable Doods and Boods dilly-dallying in this world on Twitter, using the hashtags #ApeironDoods #hugorpunt ! This event will be ongoing and take place every week. Our panels of Overseers will be keeping a close watch and reward the best doody moments with 5–15 USDT directly, Hug2Earn is here! Lastly, if you don’t already own a plushie, head over to our Discord for more info and get your hands on one of these cute doods!
Oh and one more thing! Today marks the end of an important chapter in the history of Apeiron. The reserved Apostles minting period officially closed on February 22nd at 4PM UTC. We hope you’ve all collected and customized your Apostles who will accompany you to the next stage of Apeiron.😆🔥Apostle minting will be back with the official story and dungeon mode in Season 3!

Apeiron Arena Open Beta 💫
As you may have learned from our past Medium articles, we’re going to release the Apeiron Arena Open Beta on the Epic Game Store, set to release on February 28th, 2024! $ANIMA Airdrop Points can now be officially earned by all players who download and compete in our Arena! For all the dedicated players who have been playtesting our Arena up until now… please be gentle to your newly acquired doods, as the proper tutorial dungeon is not in yet, they will need guidance in how to play!
Now let’s get down with the deets: This round of earning AP is extra special. Please note that other avenues of collecting points will be closed off. Why? This is to encourage you doods to get familiar and get groovin’ with our latest build! 😎 Souls will be officially taking their rightful place as an in-game currency - Souls will be used to calculate AP (at a 4 Souls : 1 AP ratio) between Feb 28th to Mar 18th. As for Souls in Discord will soon be transformed into Stardusts, please head to our Discord for more details on this!
The amount of Souls earned after each match WITH STAMINA is also influenced by factors such as owning Planet NFTs + Apostle NFTs. This actually holds true even in Season 3, as players can actually earn tokens by winning matches with Apostle and Planet NFTs.
We understand Planet ownership can be a pricey gateway to win2earn, so we are introducing Apostle NFTs as the initial step towards digital ownership and the win 2 earn journey. Of course, the winnings of holding an Apostle NFT alone is but a fraction compared to Planet Holders. We understand there are too few Apostles in the Market right now, so stay tuned to announcements and keep your eyes peeled for the ton of Apostle NFT Ticket giveaway events taking place in March!
In this Arena Open Beta version, free-to-play users using our Seed Planets and Apostles will earn 100% of AP from our leaderboards, but the more Apostle NFTs you own, the more Souls you’ll earn! Each Apostle NFT you possess grants you a 16.66% multiplier, up to 6 Apostle NFTs for a 100% multiplier. While a Planet NFT grants you an immediate, separate 100% multiplier as well. So if you win a match with a Planet NFT + 6 Apostle NFTs, you will be earning 300% Souls per match!
Of course, for our Primeval Planet holders, we further multiply the base Souls as usual:
Primeval Exordium Planets = Holders of our rare genesis Planet NFT types:
- Elemental = +30%
- Mythic = +60%
- Arcane = +120%
- Divine = +300%
- Primal = +666%
Example one — If you have 3 Apostle NFTs and an Elemental Exordium Planet NFT, you’ll get ~50% + 100% + 30% = 180% multipliers. And if you have a full team of 6 Apostles and a Divine Planet NFT, you’ll earn 100% + 100% + 300% = 500% Souls.
Please note that there is a maximum amount of Souls you can earn per day. The new build will be based on a PvP Stamina system. (Temporary name, Lorekeeper will turn this into an extremely hard vocabulary in Season 3 as per his lordship’s liking… please don’t fire me.)
In the PvP match lobby, you will find a PvP Stamina count. Each match you play, whether you win or lose, will consume one PvP Stamina. Once your Stamina is depleted, you can still continue playing matches, but winning them won’t grant you any Souls until your PvP Stamina reset at the end of the day. So it’s important to remember to play each day to obtain your daily Souls with PvP Stamina!
And that’s about it! You can expect many events to come in March as we release the Apeiron Arena Open Beta, remember to keep an eye out for the Apostle Ticket giveaways!
