The Apeiron Guild Wars 2024: $1,000,000 Prize Pool Announcement
Hey everyone! It’s a big day: today we’re announcing the details for the Apeiron Guild Wars 2024, our marquee annual tournament with a $1,000,000 prize pool. We have all the information you need on that, as well as some news on the upcoming $ANIMA launch and S3 Primeval Testing.
Before we jump in, a quick note that going forward, players eager to claim their rewards must now head to our official Marketplace to do so. Click here and login to check out what rewards are available for your account. In another small update, due to some technical issues, the new Relic Expedition has been pushed to this Friday. Finally, the Zenith Invitational Tournament with the top players from the just concluded leaderboard begins today at 12:00 pm UTC, kicking off the action with the SEA region.

🏟️ Apeiron Guild War 2024 🎉
The Apeiron Guild Wars 2024 is the culmination of years of work: we’ve previously held two Guild Wars Preliminaries — now we’ve arrived at the main event. Guilds from all over the world will compete over a prize pool worth $1,000,000 USD, split between 500k in USDC cash + tokens and 500K in NFTs! 😯
The Guild Wars will be divided into two parts. First will be the Guild Wars leaderboards, running from May 21, 2024 — July 2, 2024. All web3 guilds are welcome to register and join during this period and have their members compete to make it to the top ranks, but keep in mind that this is a competitive event that will push even the best players, so make sure you apply and get practicing ASAP.
Following the finalization of the leaderboard, we will be hosting the Guild Wars Invitational with the top 12 guilds from each region (SEA and NA) battling it out. Please note that, when registering, all guilds MUST register in either the SEA or NA region e.g. Foonie Magus SEA or Foonie Magus NA. A guild CAN register for both regions. The prize pool will be divided between the Guild Wars leaderboards and the tournament itself.
We’re still finalizing some details of the tournament but here’s a sneak peek: we will have a double-elimination bracket with participants eliminated after losing two matches. Additionally, the top 4 seeded guilds are given the advantage of a first-round bye, which means they do not need to compete in the first round and automatically advance to the second round. Finally, when the tournament reaches the grand finals, we’ll be flying the fighters in to compete in Hong Kong!

Please note that your guild must earn at least 1000 ranked stars over the course of the leaderboard to qualify for the invitational. Additionally, alt-accounting is strictly prohibited!
Guilds/projects/communities will need at least 25 members or 300 followers to participate.
Please note that guilds must have been created BEFORE April 15th, 2024.

$Anima Launches alongside Guild Wars
$ANIMA will be earnable in game and tradable on Katana Dex starting on May 21, 2024!
A quick recap: ANIMA ($ANIMA) is our win-to-earn and player incentive token, used to enhance all Apeiron NFTs. $ANIMA will also be able to be used to top-up in the game as Animus in the forthcoming Apeiron top-up store.
Remember, all the hard-earned $ANIMA Airdrop Points that you guys worked hard to grind for will also be translated into battlevested $ANIMA on the 21st! Here’s the list of those who have rightfully earned the Anima Airdrop Points to date.
S3 Primeval Testing
The Apeiron Arena Open Beta has been live for a few months now and we hope you’ve enjoyed it! But the fun doesn’t just stop there, coming up on May 23rd, we’ll be rolling out our S3 PvE dungeon for testing!
Apeiron’s primeval owners will be able to gain access to this early access build via the #alpha-access channel on our Discord. Users will be able to use their own Planet NFTs, meaning that they may test out their own Avatar in the PvE mode. There’ll be two modes in this version, including easy and normal.
