Mendiocracy

In Aperiomics a mendiocracy is a rule by lies, this is not necessarily a bad thing but a consequence of how the theory works. In current events there is a controversy about the truth, the left believes that truth should be the goal of civilization. Because of this, using lies to further an agenda is regarded as subversive or dangerous. When the right seems to be comfortable with lies, promoting them and preferring them over truth this seems almost blasphemy to the left.

In Aperiomics this is a natural part of society, there have always been people who have evolved to profit from lies. There is an ancient description of politics as Knaves versus Fools, a Knave is dishonest and tricks Fools for a living. The view of many scientists is that truth is the goal, the refutation of lies and false beliefs is how man moved from ignorance and the Dark Ages to Enlightenment and modern technology. A preference for lies over truth is often seen as a regression, as Carl Sagan said this could lead to a demon-haunted world and another Dark Ages.

Aperiomics is divided into two types of societies, each is classified according to 5 different colors. These two work very differently but also map onto each other with some similarities, the left and right wings change as their color codes move from one type to the other. The current resurgence of liars in politics is a movement from one type to the other.

The first type is called Roy for Red Orange Yellow, Aperiomics uses a color code called ROYGBIV to classify the different principles. Roy represents the animal kingdom and poorer societies, Red people are like prey in an ecosystem when they act as individuals, when they band together as groups for protection like herds this is called Red-Orange. An example would be Wildebeest in Africa protecting each other.

The predator class in nature and poor societies is represented by Yellow as the apex predator, when they form a pack or group this is called Orange-Yellow. These predators hunt prey in nature, the relative values of the colors are how well the prey are doing to survive against the predators.

The Yellow and Orange-Yellow predators are based on lies and deception, they are like the Knaves in politics. The prey as Red and Red-Orange are based on truth, they survive better when knowing what the facts are. The predators do better by using deception, for example lions as an Orange-Yellow pride might sneak up on a Red-Orange herd of zebras. The longer they maintain the deception the more they profit from the prey, the sooner these lies are exposed the better off the zebras are.

This is a balance in nature, truth is no better than lies. It is just the balance between predator and prey. In modern society the right-wing is represented by Knaves using deception, the left-wing is represented by those seeking to avoid being Fooled by outlawing deception. This leads to a constant war in the media where the right manufactures more deceptions as Knaves, the left tries to expose these lies to avoid being Fooled.

The second type of society is called Biv for Blue Indigo Violet, this occurs in wealthier societies and is modeled on the plant kingdom. Here the left is represented by the colors Blue and Blue-Indigo, these have similarities to the Red and Red-Orange people in poorer societies. Whereas Red and Red-Orange try to use truth as a defense, the Blue and Blue-Indigo people use hard work. There are no predators in this society, to survive they work hard and trade their labor for other goods.

The right-wing is represented by the colors Violet and Indigo-Violet, these form a meritocracy of those with the greatest abilities. They trade with the Blue and Blue-Indigo workers to profit instead of the Roy system of predator and prey.

A society usually has both Roy and Biv components, the right has some predatory businesses which were seen in the Global Financial Crisis of 2008. They also have legitimate businesses that grow through innovation.

A society also has two components with workers, some people are preyed on criminally as prey. In poorer societies these crimes can become endemic if the Yellow and Orange-Yellow predator class dominates. The biv society has labor who work as both Blue individuals as Blue-Indigo groups such as unions. They are not preyed on because more profits are made by trading with them fairly.

The two kinds of societies coexist in different ratios, when a country becomes poorer the right is more dominated by the Yellow and Orange-Yellow predator class. When they become wealthier this group becomes more like Violet and Indigo-Violet, they make more money by using their talents and abilities than by crime. One example is how Oligarchs in Russia often started out as a mafia then become businesspeople. If the country becomes poorer they can also revert back to the predator types.

Also when a country becomes poorer then work becomes harder to find, there is often high unemployment. People can become homeless, nomadic, trying to protect themselves from predatory crimes. As the economy improves they can go back to Blue and Blue Indigo work, the Red and Red-Orange predators return to more legitimate Violet and Indigo-Violet businesses.

This page is about a theory I developed over 30 years, called Aperiomics. It has 12 colors representing mathematical relationships.
