English Viceroy’s Catamaran

Back in 80’s & 90’s The Sundarbans used to be the vacation retreat of viceroys and governor generals. To move throughout the mangrove forest via waterways they used catamarans like these. Boats like these can withstand heavy currents & loads. Perfect to give VIPs all the comfort & luxury. But after independence they were soon decommissioned as their running cost was very high.
