Announcing #DiscoverAPEX Stage 2

Dear APEX community,

It is with great pleasure that we’re announcing the second stage of our #DiscoverAPEX bounty campaign series. This initiative aims to raise awareness, onboard and educate new members in our APEX community.

Stage 2 consists of two parts; an explanatory GIF contest and a video competition.

1. Explanatory GIF contest

This contest will give you the chance to earn a reward by explaining certain facets of APEX Network via GIFs.

▪️ Goal

Produce a GIF that can be posted on social media and clearly depicts what APEX Network is all about or focused on a particular aspect of APEX Network.

▪️ Content Guidelines

Participants can choose among the following two options:

1. APEX Network (what is APEX Network all about?)
2. Particular Aspect (e.g. APEX Wallet, Node Ecosystem, APEX and Big Data, APEX Core Team, …)

To provide you a better feeling of what we’re looking for, here is a winner from a similar competition held by 0x some time ago.

▪️ Evaluation

Entries will be evaluated on:

• Graphics and content quality
• Factual accuracy
• Creativity of approach
• Respect APEX design and color scheme (APEX website)
• Clear and readable message

▪️ Rewards

• 1st place: 15,000 CPX
• 2nd place: 10,000 CPX
• 3rd place: 8,000 CPX
• 4th-10th place: 2,000 CPX

▪️ Submission

• Start and deadline: time of publishing until September 22nd, 8am UTC
• Tweet your GIF with the hashtags #APEX $APEX #CPX $CPX and fill in the following google form.
• Note: Only participants that both (1) tweeted out their entry and (2) filled in the google form will qualify. Do note that the tweet must remain on the twitter page as long as results are not published in order to qualify.

2. Explanatory Video Competition

This competition will give you the chance to earn a reward by explaining certain facets of APEX Network in short descriptive videos.

▪️ Goal

Create a short video (maximum duration is 2 minutes) explaining certain facets of APEX Network.

▪️ Content Guidelines

Participants can choose among the following two options:

1. APEX Network (what is APEX Network all about?)
2. Particular Aspect (e.g. APEX Wallet, Node Ecosystem, APEX and Big Data, APEX Core Team, …)

▪️ Evaluation

• Graphics & content quality
• Creativity of approach
• Maximum duration is 2 minutes
• Respect APEX design and color scheme (APEX website)
• Clear and concise explanation

▪️ Rewards

• 1st place: 25,000 CPX
• 2nd place: 20,000 CPX
• 3rd place: 15,000 CPX

▪️ Submission

• Start and deadline: time of publishing until September 22nd, 8am UTC
• Tweet your Youtube video with the hashtags #APEX $APEX #CPX $CPX and fill in the following google form.
• Format: at least 720p resolution
• Note: Only participants that both (1) tweeted out their entry and (2) filled in the google form will qualify. Do note that the tweet must remain on the twitter page as long as results are not published in order to qualify.

Note: By choosing to participate in these competitions, you agree to transfer all proprietary, promotional and copyrights of any and all portions of your submitted material to APEX Network in perpetuity.
