In this article, I am going to discuss the habits that a person should consider to become successful in their personal and career lives. These are actually the results of a study done on 100 successful individuals by a Russian researcher, which can significantly help you in order to be a successful person.

1. Continuous study

It helps you learn new things and has a significant and positive effect on your mindset and success. When we are studying or reading a book, it gives us instructions on how to deal with problems when we do not have any ideas about them.

2. Regular exercise

It helps you maintain your health and improve your mental health.

When we are healthy, both mentally and physically, we can perform better and have better results in our daily and career lives.

3. Interactions with successful people

Having interactions and communication with successful people will help you understand how to live like them, which is a big key to success.

4. Following your goals

Successful people tend to have specific goals; they are determined to reach them, and they put in their effort and work really hard for their goals in order to get the best possible result.

5. Waking up early

Many successful people, such as Elon Musk, wake up early in the morning, which allows them to have control over their time and do things on time.

6. Getting advice from experienced people

Getting advice from experienced people can help you know about their mistakes, avoid repeating them, and have the ability to deal with the problems in a more efficient way than before, which can help you do more tasks every day. For instance, if a person does 5 or 6 tasks every day, if he or she wakes up early in the morning, they tend to have more energy than before, which leads to better solutions and finishing more tasks.

7. Not being the same color as society

The point is that successful people are willing to think outside the box and be creative and innovative, except for following in others footsteps in any field or subject. This habit makes them unique and sometimes unstoppable in front of people, which is one of the main keys to development and success.

8. Positivity

Successful individuals always see the positive aspects of a situation that they face, and this leads to new and innovative solutions for them. When we think positively about a bad situation in our personal lives and careers, we will find the best possible solutions for that specific problem, but if you tend to think negatively and worry a lot about it, even if you try your best, you may not get the ideal solutions for them.

9. Thinking and meditation for 15–30 minutes daily

It helps us to gain more focus and concentration, which leads to better mental health, reduces depression and anxiety, and improves inner peace in an efficient manner.

10. Helping others

This personality trait is common among successful people; helping others can have an impact on that person’s mindset and bring a sense of happiness to both the giver and the taker. You can also increase your trust in others. Let’s take two men, one a rich man who is forgiving, and the other a type of person who is not forgiving at all. Who would you trust more, the forgiving or the person who is not forgiving? You surely trust a man who is forgiving.

I have tried to do them, and since the time that I decided to change, I am a way better and more successful person. I strongly recommend that you follow these steps. When you repeatedly do them, it can seem challenging at first, but slowly it’ll become part of your lifestyle, and you can see how successful and better you become after doing them.
