API3 and Metis partner to serve first-party Oracles to their L2 rollup ecosystem
API3 is excited to announce a partnership and integration with Metis. API3 will be making the API3 Alliance’s Web3 API Catalog, the largest selection of data providers in Web 3.0, available for dapp developers to use on Metis. API3 will also be deploying Beacons to Metis, which will provide transparent, scalable price reference data feeds to the Metis ecosystem.
Metis currently has 800m TVL in their flourishing ecosystem, with a plethora of DeFi dapps on their Layer 2 network that can now utilize API3’s first-party oracle infrastructure. Metis is also being supported by a range of initiatives to bring L1 applications to their L2 environment as well as supporting early stage projects and help them grow. API3 is excited to be able to serve data both to Metis-native and multi-chain dapps looking to move to Metis with our first-party Web3 APIs and Beacons.
Dapp developers can now request access to the 180+ Web3 APIs to start including a rich variety of external data in their dapps right away. We will share more details about the upcoming launch of Beacons on Metis in future.
