Team Structure

A couple members have changed their responsibilities in response to the shifted efforts in other verticals in the past couple of months.

  • Nathan Robinette will transition to the Business Development — dApp team to further facilitate dApp new business growth.
  • While on the Marketing team, Auvi has focused on operational activities to help keep our online platforms running efficiently for our marketing efforts. It has been decided that though these efforts primarily help the marketing team, they are more operationally aligned and so these funds are being transitioned to the operations team budget to better represent the allocation of funds. In bringing this member to operations, they will also be utilized in other operations capacities such as CRM maintenance and infrastructure.

Beacons

The framework for Beacon invoicing and the follow-up customer service processes are well underway. As the Account Management team assisted in Beacon outreach for the dApp team, it was decided to reallocate additional efforts there for the benefit of the product launch. This leaves the remaining Account Manager, Brandon, to be able to wholly focus on the interconnectivity of information as we further build out the capacity of the CRM to reflect the Beacon ecosystem as interest builds. At each stage, we are seeking to automate and decentralize payment conversion and split calculation, to allow processes to scale.

Legal

Service coverage (this is described in the whitepaper as ‘insurance’, but is more accurate to describe as discretionary service coverage) continues to progress in development with Kleros, and the operations team is busy optimizing the subscription tiers and end-to-end flow. In addition to drafting the terms and conditions for service coverage and claims, claim templates, and policy templates as well as other various agreements with data providers and implementation partners this month, Erich has prepared an informational memo and code analysis for a world-renowned data provider seeking clarity on the regulatory classification and characteristics of a DeFi protocol seeking to incorporate their Airnode-fed data.

CRM Transition

After another month building out our new CRM system, much has been streamlined and learned to enable us to begin improving functionality for those doing outreach. Additional efforts have been fully onboarded including Beacon and dApp outreach processes. All data is now entered into the CRM. As we move forward, the goal is to further connect the data exchange needs as more users connect to APIs and we approach the Beacon launch.

Accounting Processes

We continue to work towards completing our 2021 accounting and tax reporting. We are also building our bookkeeping and reporting infrastructure for various service entities that work with the foundation. This will give a consistent, transparent representation of our business relationships from an accounting standpoint.

Ongoing Matters

Our Operations team will continue work in third party service agreement structures as well as other continuously relevant Operational items including regulatory liability mitigation, compliance, proofs of concept, and backend maintenance.
