MORNING COFFEE QUATRAIN
Imitating Wisdom
A devoted seeker or an insecure one?

Sometimes a writer’s words are
wiser than the writer’s wisdom.
Fiery thirst for Knowing and healing,
or the lack’s push for overfilling?
“Morning Coffee Quatrains” are the response to
“What’s the main thing around which my mind swirls right now?”.
A prompt from my self to my self, while drinking my morning coffee
(even if sometimes the “publish” button is pushed later).
Writing wise words is not such a difficult thing.
Whether these wise words reflect an analogous wisdom in reality,…
well, that’s a different story.
Why would one write or talk about things they haven’t really understand, experienced, or reached?
Maybe because they are devoted seekers of the pure Knowledge and Wisdom, and referring to these is one of the means for investigating and reaching them.
Maybe because they feel that they are far from that, and they need to be presented as Knowledgeable, overfilling that (belief of) insufficiency.
(There are more options, but — hey — it was a quatrain. I couldn’t include all of my thoughts!)
But, does that “why” matter? Yes and no.
Everyone is free (at least, theoretically*) to express themselves and take responsibility for it, and the rest of the people are free (at least, theoretically*) to react and take responsibility for their reaction.
*…long conversation! 😜
I will leave “filters” aside now — while drinking my black filtered coffee — and I will not analyse. We need that too, you know…
Good morning, dear Medium friends!
Let us be responsibly free today, observing in parallel our one and only savior; our self.
PS. Do you mind if a writer’s words “reflect” a much wider perception than the one they have in reality?
Here is a piece I loved (written by Mary Kontouri):
If you swim in Instagram’s ocean, you’ll find me somewhere here, on a raft like the one Odysseus had.
