Review Your Apps for Facebook Data Guidelines
Today (29th March), Facebook blog has suggested they are doing major changes in Facebook APP & API Policies.
Amid data theft turmoil Facebook has ‘Paused’ app reviews.
How it will impact you? If you are developing an app on iOS, Android or Web: you need to get your app reviewed by Facebook team. For a time being new apps which is using Facebook SDK will not be approved.
This will create lot of problems for the App Developers who are waiting to submit their app on App Store.
- Inform people if an app is removed for data misuse: If we find developers that misused personally identifiable information, we will ban them from our platform. Moving forward, if we remove an app for misusing data, we will notify everyone who used it.
This is very huge & strict guideline, this will impact lot of Companies as they were collecting data from their users.
