Our Top Bucket List Travel Destinations for 2021 and Beyond
We can all agree, we are all ready to start planning our next getaway. With travel restrictions constantly changing the best we can do is dream about our next adventure. We recently asked our App in the Air community where they are looking forward to traveling to next once they can hit the road again. From the sparkling waters of the Maldives to bustling cities in the United States, here are the top five sought after destinations for 2021 and beyond, according to our community.
Maldives
Complete serenity, overwater bungalows, and total seclusion is what you’ll find in the Maldives and it’s no wonder our app community is adding this to their bucket lists. Perfect for couples or solo trips, the islands are currently open to visitors and are welcoming travelers from out of the country. Passengers from the United States must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 4 days before departure of the first flight.
Fiji
While Fiji is currently restricted, that doesn’t mean our App in the Air family has nixed it off their travel lists for good. Fiji is rich with stunning archipelago and mesmerizing blue waters. U.S. travelers may have a long travel process to get there, but it’s worth the wait.
Canada
Canada has some of the most diverse and cultural spots within driving distance of each other, making it a great vacation for adventurous spirits. Some top trending Canada destinations include Banff, Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City. Keep in mind, travelers arriving by air in Canada, are required to submit a quarantine plan and a COVID-19 ‘self-assessment’ before getting on a flight.
Greece
If you’ve been to Greece already, you know why our community is longing to visit this magnificent country ASAP. Greece has even more reason to celebrate this year as it marks its 200th birthday! From the history-packed Athens to the ruins in Mycenae, and the quiet island of Milos, there’s something for every type of traveler.
USA
Whether you’re an American citizen or foreigner, visiting the USA gives travelers several diverse options to explore. From staying in luxurious hotels at major cities, taking in the countryside, or going on a long cross-country road trip for the first time, our app users are ready to see all of it. Domestic travel, especially by car and train, had a huge influx since covid-19 and we’re seeing this continue to trend in the new year.
