Introduction

One thing that almost all creative people have in common is that they are always working on a one or more side projects.

A side project, for our purposes, is an application that you work on in your spare time (ha!). They are a form of intellectual and creative output, and most importantly they products that you are naturally excited to show others.

Instructions

For this week’s homework, we want you to use the knowledge you have about Javascript so far, to propose a side project.

You’ll be using your side project to help (a) better inform you and us about your preferences (what do you want to work on) and (b) better inform your future team about your preferences (what should the team) work on.

  1. Read and create your own version of Lab 4 — Web App
  2. Think about something useful and or interesting that you would like to build and write a short (paragraph or bullet points is fine) proposal for your side project. Include in this proposal what you’d like to build, why (it’s cool is cool) and how (I’ll use Javascipt is not enough, tell us how you’ll use Javascript, what will it help you do?).
  3. Schedule a time to meet one-on-one with us in the studio (use this appointment calendar link to book: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/selfsched?sstoken=UVBuX280M2I3QS1QfGRlZmF1bHR8MzRmNmFmNGRhNDExZDFjZjUyNGNiOTA2NDc2NGExZTI) — bring your proposal
  4. After you have met with one of us, upload your proposal as well as the .html, .css and .js files for your version of Lab 4 — Web App to the course assignment portal.
