This film version of the real shootout at the OK Corral tells the Earp brothers’ story after venturing into prosperous Tombstone, Arizona having decided to visit during their cattle drive to California. They did not know it was a lawless town without a Marshal, a job no local would take. After the the murder of his brother James Earp, Wyatt takes over in Tombstone. He meets strong opposition as an outsider and is challenged by the local Clanton gang and Doc Holliday. Meanwhile, Earp is charmed by Clementine, a young woman from Boston who takes a room at the hotel where he and Doc Holliday both live. Earp isn’t alone in finding Clem charming; Holliday does too. Tensions can’t get any higher in Tombstone and so off to the corral they’ll go.
