During the Primaries, when GOP Presidential Nominee Donald J. Trump introduced his planned policies targeting Muslims, Dylan Ramsey shared the same feelings of disbelief, anger and fear expressed by millions of other Americans. Inspired by the legacy of The Group Theatre during the ’30s, Ramsey was compelled to write the screenplay for Extinction which takes place 60 years from now and introduces, “Adam,” The Last Muslim on Earth who has managed to survive despite the widespread Islamophobia and hate of Muslims happening today.

Extinction is directed by Iram Parveen Bilal and stars Dylan Ramsey, Oscar nominee and Golden Globe Award-winner Sally Kirkland, Mathew St. Patrick (Six Feet Under), Nicole Steinwedell, Brennan Kelleher, and Aislinn Plair.

Timed with the first Presidential Debate earlier this week — as Trump continued is warpath of hate — the filmmakers released the eye-opening and thought-provoking trailer for Extinction. Without restraint and certainly no apologies, Bilal forces us to enter Trump’s world — well, his vision for ours — where the ban on Muslims has happened. And just like a trip to the Museum of Tolerance, Extinction reveals a side of humanity that we often refuse to acknowledge actually exists.

On November 8, we will cast our votes for or against Extinction.
