Hacksaw Ridge

Hacksaw Ridge is one of the best films I have ever seen, Mel Gibson’s best work so far! Amazing film, the story which is a true story, about a World War Two Christian volunteer who fights in the Pacific, but his fight does not start there, but at home, his faith prevents him from touching a weapon which is for the reason of not committing the worse of all sins, to take another life. Andrew Garfield who portrays Desmond Doss, who is an extraordinary man, soldier, medic who saves the life of seventy-five soldiers by himself under enemy fire and he manages to do it all of this without firing a single shot. Andrew Garfield, Vince Vaughn, Luke Bracey, Sam Worthington and Hugo Weaving; they all were amazing, amazing casting and they all did an amazing job! Mel Gibson deserves every award there is, including and especially an Academy Award for Director, this film is definitely one of this best films yet! Overall the film is a must see, one of the best history films, one of the best World War films, just completely Amazing!
