The company broadcast two ads highlighting the superiority of their teams, but do you have strong reasons to do so?

Apple seeks to convince users of other brands to switch to the company (YouTube / Apple)

Apple hit a new blow in its struggle to position its new line of smartphones on the competition, at least in the advertising field. In this way, the all-out war between mobile operating systems continues.

The apple company launched a few days ago a couple of ads that make fun of two features of Android that, according to them, their equipment far outweigh the photographic quality and security of Google Play.

The audiovisual pieces are part of the “Switch to iPhone” campaign, which seeks to convince users of other brands to switch to Apple. Evil has not gone. In just a few days the publications already add up to one million views on YouTube.

However, beyond the mockery, it is worth asking if the criticism that Apple makes in its advertising really sustains.

Photographic quality

Apple criticizes the bad photographic result of Android phones (which does not mention, but it is understood that attacks) against the great experience offered by the new iPhone in portrait mode, thanks to the possibility of playing with lighting.

There is no doubt that one of the main attributes of the iPhone is its photographic quality, but to say that no Android device can match it — and why not surpass it — is to go too far.

Security in the Google Play Store

We can not deny that here Apple did hit a fair hit. You do not have to be very expert in the subject to realize that Google’s app store does not stand out precisely because of its security.

Although initiatives have been implemented to increase the security of Google Play and in a certain way it has been achieved, downloading apps for Android is still a risk.

Some of the malicious applications for Android that circulate freely have millions of downloads and range from classic adware to the most sophisticated ransomware. What does not happen in App Store.
