Who has never dreamed of launching their own innovative idea and founding their own personal enterprise?

The answer will surely be “everyone”. But very few people will know that every single business needs a valid value proposition that carefully assesses the principle of social and environmental sustainability;

Every company creates negative and positive consequences and we, even before entrepreneurs, are people connected to each other and with the whole world, and it is our duty to reduce the negative impacts.

We are the “Superpuffs Girls” and today we are here to present our revolutionary idea:

starting from our passion for the study of social behaviours, the mind and the possible limits and behavioural damages of it, the idea of ​​InSight was born: a flash, an intuition that illuminated the path of our minds (significant the reference of the lit bulb in our logo).

InSight is a for-profit business, a social enterprise that has the main purpose to raise awareness and participate to the social inclusion, specifically to help children suffering of SLD (Specific Learning Disorders) by providing them educational activities and methods.

With this idea came an essential question: how can we support and implement a sustainable social business idea? A question that I’m sure most of you are asking to themselves. It is not easy to find the solution to this when you decide to create your own business, moreover if you want to deal with it alone.

For this reason, with an annual subscription income, families and children will be able to take advantage of our e-learning platform: they will be followed 24 hours a day by speech therapists, teachers and psychologists; children could interact with other students, booking of revision lessons, following online lessons with audio-visual contents and all this will be most favorable setting for learning because children will study in a known environment.

InSight leaves nothing out:

Our enterprise could offer specialised physical centers, thanks to the power of our associations; they could pay for an annual fee to be part of our cooperative, but who chooses to be part of our sustainable project will make the right choice with his innumerable advantages:

This will be the main point of reference for our students and our families because they will be able to participate themselves with inclusive activities such as sports, recreational activities, study and training.

But this type of school learning enhancement will be optional: families who want to use this service will be able to do so with an additional monthly fee.

The costs that our customers will face will be necessary to support our primary purpose: these children have all the right tools, but often they lack the right support to make it better.

Support: in the poster, the fragmented word tells us how to read those with dyslexia, for example. It is why it will be our duty to minimise the expenses as much as possible and for the same reason, we will appreciate any volunteer who will support our awareness project.

The basis of every possible improvement is the contribution of each individual, which makes our society better, more sensitive and more constructive.

Each individual is in itself a spark, and we have the necessary tools for it to be lit. To be different one must always act differently.

More than support the children we want to be an example for them, to show them that take care of the environment is not an option, it’s a necessity. That’s why InSight choose instore an ecological policy inside its office; proposing recycling and green spaces. Moreover our platform allows us to reduce the paper consummation and InSight also proposes a single centralised transport to reduce the carbon footprint.

We wanted to go further, therefor we decided to implement a sensibilisation to the environmental situation inside the resources we provide to our customers, to make of them wise and responsible citizens.

In the end you will probably outcome with the following challenge, which is maybe THE challenge of our life: designate a sustainable social business model to provide an efficient social service. From this stage you could start to freak out, asking yourself “What did I got into ? ” or you could take a deep breath and be excited to raise this challenge. To you the choice.
