TechTool Pro 9 macOS Sierra 対応バージョンの提供はもうすぐです

macOS Sierra 対応バージョンである TechTool Pro 9 v9.0.2 Build 2716 が 10/8 に到着しました。

Build 2716
* Added macOS 10.12 Sierra compatibility.
* Significant updates to the TechTool Protection system preference for increased responsiveness, operation and stability.
* Updated eDrive to support macOS 10.12 Sierra and increased the eDrive volume size to 18GB.
* Fixed a reported crash when a hard drive does not contain a device UUID.
* Updated Partition Map and Partition Repair to test only GUID partition map devices.
* Updated Disk Permissions to support macOS 10.12 Sierra.
* Updates to the Sensors Test for additional sensors support.
* Added support for MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2016) in the Processor Check tool.
* Updated to version 9.0.2 for TechTool Pro 9 and version 6.0.2 for TechTool Protogo.
* Updated location and machine identifications strings for Check Computer.
* Updated French, German and Japanese localization support.
* Other minor fixes and enhancements.

開発元の Micromat では昨年の OS X El Capitan のリリース直後、El Capitan から搭載された rootless 機能に対応した、当時の最新バージョンである TechTool Pro 8 El Capitan 対応版をいち早くリリースしていました。

今回も macOS Sierra の互換性作業は比較的スムーズに進行していたようですが、去年とは違い少し対応版のリリースが遅れているのは、TechTool Protection を一から見直す必要が生じた理由からのようです。

しかしながら v9.0.2 の β Build の提供が始まったということは、もう間も無く提供されるアップデータによって、macOS Sierra 対応版 TechTool Pro 9 をみなさまにお届けできる日が近くなってきているという事になります。
