What’s going on with iOS 17.2.1?

Last month, Apple released the iOS 17.2.1 official update, which tries to fix the issue of unexpected battery usage reported by some iPhone users. While the number of affected users is not huge, it is surprising that some users have experienced more difficult cellular issues after upgrading to iOS 17.2.1.

According to the latest report by foreign media BGR, some users posted in the Apple support community that since upgrading to iOS 17.2.1, their iPhones cannot connect to the carrier network (sometimes it also happens to me), resulting in the inability to make calls and use cellular data, and the situation is similar to a damaged SIM card from the description.
