Do you ever get nervous tension, anxiety, or full-blown panic attacks? If you’re looking for a natural solution that doesn’t mean a lifelong prescription, consider cutting back or stopping alcohol consumption altogether. Not only will you be decreasing your anxiety, you’ll be reducing your risk of cancer, obesity, liver disease, and more.

I’ve noticed the people in my life who drink a lot experience a ton of anxiety during the day when they aren’t drinking. It’s a vicious cycle that keeps people trapped — their anxiety leads to drinking and the drinking causes anxiety. But is there a better way to manage stress that doesn’t have the negative side effects that alcohol does? I believe so… and I believe it can be even more fulfilling than the life you’re living now.

I remember drinking wine every night in my 20’s and how my anxiety was at an all time high. If only I had a meditation practice in place like I do now, I could have eased my nerves without the hangover.

Although I haven’t had much alcohol in the past 4 years (maybe twice a year) I wasn’t really opposed to it. But after interacting with multiple alcoholics in my life, it’s become apparent to me that a life without alcohol tends to be a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling one.
