Oops, Apple Leakers’ Scores Drop After the iPhone 13 Apple Event

This year’s Apple event didn’t turn out to be exactly what was expected from the Cupertino tech giant. The iPhone 13 series was nothing but ditto for the iPhone 12 with a slightly thicker body and thinner notch. Similarly, there were no new AirPods at the launch event, and the only leak that was almost accurate was of the iPad 9th generation and the iPad mini devices.

However, the Apple Watch Series 7 might be the biggest reason Apple leakers’ scores have decreased since the fall event. As earlier leakes suggested, the Apple Watch Series 7 was supposed to launch in a redesigned form similar design to the iPhone 12’s new makeover. Like Apple’s latest devices, the Series 7 watch was supposed to have a flatter screen and sharper edges.

To us, it appears that Apple somewhat decided to push in the Watch Series 7 at the last minute. The company didn’t share further details of the new wearable device immediately either; the pricing and availability came only this week. It seems pretty unlike Apple, who always shares a multitude of information about their latest tech on their website.

We think it’s all in Apple’s quest to put a period on leaks. If you remember, Apple had previously asked a Chinese leaker to reveal its source or face a lawsuit. The company has been pretty vocal about curbing leaks and such from their employees. If this trend goes on, we’re likely to see leaks drop drastically — until, of course, the leakers adapt.
