A look at the overlap between and uniqe characteristics of behaviorism, constructivism, cognitivism, connectivism, and andragogy.

Behaviorism, constructivism, cognitivism, connectivism, and andragogy all have their own unique characteristics, but it is important to recognize that there is also a lot of overlap and shared characteristics between them. There is no one “best” way to learn or teach — oftentimes, effective lessons and learning environments will utilize a combination of these theories to ensure higher success in reaching students with different learning styles and abilities.
