Setup AWS account
Lot’s of people nowadays are talking about cloud platform like AWS, Microsoft Azure etc. I still think there a lot of people who are still not aware of different cloud platform and their offerings. This is the reason why we are going to begin this series of post which will give overview or kickstart of your understanding towards cloud platform.
In this post, we begin by setting up AWS account before using their offerings.
Login to AWS console and specify your email id to get started
Please provide a valid email id which is mandatory and click on “sign in using our secure server” which will redirect to form which will help you setup credentials for AWS account.
Once you press create account it ask for you basic information which are mandatory to setup you account and further account validation.
Once you submit to create account, your account get created, follow the further instruction to provide other information such as Credit card details Phone number verification, support plan’s etc.
Few point to remember:
- Since AWS provide on demand services, credit card verification is must and it would charged based on AWS services usages.
- AWS support plans are very flexible as you can select the plans based on your usage and budget.
- AWS do email or phone verification before activating the account.
Once above mentioned steps are completed. Now that you have setup your account, after sign in, you will see screen something like this:
