Approved makes the HousingWire TECH100
First time on the list, but most certainly won’t be the last
Approved was founded on the basic premise that getting a mortgage was the most arduous part of the homebuying process and desperately needed to be fixed. Two years later, I’m proud to admit that we’re already delivering on that mission.
The HousingWire TECH100
Approved was just named to HousingWire’s 2018 TECH100 list along with “top tech firms in the mortgage finance space” including Black Knight, Calyx, CoreLogic, loanDepot, PeerStreet, and Xome. That’s some good company.
HousingWire is the most influential source of news and information for the mortgage and housing markets, boasting a readership of over 4 million annual unique visitors. And in case you’re counting — that’s more than the total number of real estate agents and mortgage loan officers in the entire country combined, so they definitely have some fans.
Maybe it was our borrower-facing point of sale that lets users fill out a full loan app in as little as 8 minutes from their iPhone? Or maybe it was the lender and broker-facing workflow tools that cut 40–50% off the time of closing a loan. Whatever the reason, this award belongs to the Approved engineering team that built our digital mortgage platform and the lenders and brokers that have collaborated with us to help make borrowing easier.
