Bob Myers Collection Now Available

A large collection donated by distinguished motorsports journalist Bob Myers is now available for use in the Stock Car Racing Collection.

Myers, who over a long career covered stock car racing for the Charlotte Observer, Stock Car Racing Magazine, and Circle Track, among many publication sources, was the recipient of a number of writing awards. In 1970 he won the Henry McLemore Award, the highest honor in motorsports journalism. In 1991 he was honored as the National Motorsports Press Association’s writer of the year.

The collection consists of drafts and final versions of articles, research material, correspondence, media guides, photographs, race results, award plaques, and more. Visit the user guide for more information.
