4 Photoshop plug-ins you need in your life!

In this decade, we have experienced a shift in the paradigm of technology. We are no stranger to the fruits of editing, sometimes even we as designers get confused on what is real and what is edited to mimic “real”. Photoshop, the flagship software by Adobe has become a holy grail tool for designers. Adobe is well-loved by people all around the world for the splendid array of softwares like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and many more that it offers. I am sure you are aware of the awesome fact that these tools can be combined with various third-party plug-ins to amplify the efficiency of the software.

Well, Adobe Photoshop is exceptional as it is, but sometimes you may feel the need to incorporate an additional feature, we get it, we do too! And of course, it would not have been a feasible option for Adobe to add its own plug-ins without elevating the cost of the software. So, *Drumroll* to the third-party plug-ins!

We are going to be discussing our top 5 favorite plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop today, and some are absolutely free to use!

  1. Ink

This is our personal favorite from the list. It allows the Designer to evaluate the design elements better within a coding context. It also aids users in creating amazing UI and mockups. If you use Ink, you can easily communicate your design to people. The perk — Ink is absolutely free of cost!

2. flaticon

This awesome plugin is downloaded through many formats, you can use formats like PNG or SVG. It basically gives you the authentication to select from many free vector icons to directly incorporate them in your design. Trust me when I say you will almost find every icon in the world in here! Although the icons are free, you are required to pay $8.25 per month for attribution to use it.

3. Camera Raw

Camera raw allows you to edit raw unprocessed files from your camera. You can work with a lot of features like sharpener, contrast, etc without molding the picture file in any way, shape, or form. We would totally recommend this plug-in to all the photographers out there, It will really amp up your work!

4. Texture Anarchy

The type of filter you are looking for but can’t find anything even remotely close, well, Texture Anarchy has got you covered! It has a user-friendly interface wherein you can create natural-looking images mimicking textures like marble, smoke, or water. You can also find some great templates to work on if you are new to using Photoshop.
