Aptos Labs and MoonPay join forces for new Petra wallet fiat on-ramp

Entering the Aptos ecosystem just got easier with credit and mobile payments — directly in Petra wallet!

Aptos Labs and MoonPay deliver an easy blockchain onboarding to help bring billions of people into web3. That means you can now use Apple Pay to buy APT — no biggie!

Petra, the wallet from Aptos Labs, now features an easy-to-use fiat on-ramp that makes exchanging value within the Aptos ecosystem super simple. The partnership kicked off earlier this month when APT became available on MoonPay.

The MoonPay fiat on-ramp integration into Petra was the natural next step in efforts to level up the web3 user experience. The fiat on-ramp provides effortless onboarding into the Aptos network, for either those new to web3 or early adopters. Users can buy APT using any major payment method, including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

With hundreds of thousands of users across MoonPay and Petra, this is one of the largest network adoption initiatives we’ve collaborated on! We’re so excited to bring both Petra and MoonPay communities the best web3 onboarding experience on Aptos!
