After working in the restaurant industry for several years, Macarena Luzi realized she was cut out to be someone completely different. Being inspired by the world of art and design, she set out on a different path.
Teaching herself tufting, she quickly found success by incorporating her sense of style, colour and shape into her work. Now living and working as an independent artist in Los Angeles, her multidisciplinary practice focuses primarily on collage and image making in the fields of art and fashion.
Connection is at the heart of her work; each piece is created with a palpable human touch that brings joy and soul to people who surround themselves with her original creations.
