The Venue Berlin is an innovation space for music and audio tech entrepreneurs, journalists, artists, music industry folks and their partners. They offer a co-working space, a recording studio and a stage. The Venue Berlin is room to let your ideas grow!
The team is there to offer support and create synergies through mentoring, access to their network and facilities, investment opportunities, a lot of coffee and the infamous cheesy Friday.
The Venue Berlin is particularly interested in scalable business models that tackle current issues faced by the audio and music businesses:
- assisting artists to be creative
- creating and curating content and context
- connecting artists and consumers
- augmenting sound experience
- managing rights
They are located in the heart of Kreuzberg at Mehringdamm 33, next door to the editorial teams of Rolling Stone, Musikexpress and Metal Hammer, whom they frequently collaborate with. Their aim is to create exciting ways of storytelling and compelling formats around audio and video.
The Venue Berlin also serves as a bridge between promising startups and APX.
