My Ignite Internship at Apziva

I spent my last 3 months at Apziva as Software Engineering Intern. In this article, I want to share my experience and thoughts about Apziva.

Multidisciplinary Work

There are many ways you can do an Ignite internship in Apziva such as Human Resources, Growth Marketing, AI, Software Engineering, UX. Although the areas that each path is responsible for are different, the place for all departments to work in coordination is quite large. Whatever path you do internship in, Apziva offers you the opportunity to multidisciplinary working and improve your teamwork skills.

Work Experience

In today’s world, all companies expect some work experience before they hire you. If you are at the beginning of your career, it can be a little frustrating to get your first job. Apziva offers you the opportunity to make this first start. In this 3 month stage, you can gain real world experience and this is not the thing you could get from college etc.

My Tasks at Apziva

For Software Engineering Intern, you are responsible for Apziva’s website development. I took part in both front-end and back-end development. For front-end, I worked with UX designers and changed the design of the website to introduce Apziva in a more better way. I took the part of improvement of the mail systems, project submission mechanism and small tasks as required.

Last Words

I can say that Apziva restored my missing self-confidence. At the beginning, it was really difficult for me working on a big project for the first time. Here, the importance of work experience emerges. As time went on, I improved myself and I managed to do the things I could not have done. Also, working with many people strengthened my communication skills and this helped me a lot.
