OCTOBER “WOMEN AND WATER” WORKSHOP
Last week, Master Kundalini and Yoga teacher, Hari Kaur Khalsa led a Wellness Series event on the deep connection between women and water. We used Kundalini yoga & meditation to further explore how to get in touch with the healing properties of water, even out of the pool. Here are some takeaways from Hari for those of you who missed the workshop:
“Women are born masters of change; a changeability that water represents. Water reminds us how cycles are meant to flow, and its waves resemble the changes we go through. Often times we feel that the intensity of our emotions is wrong — It isn’t. It’s a matter of allowing and being with these movements and emotions. Owning these ups and downs while observing what they are telling us will allow flow to occur.
What would it feel like to accept fluidity? To own this creative part of yourself, and to be comfortable in your body? Honor the feelings of being with yourself and how beautiful your body is.
A woman is master of change, time, space, and the universe if she chooses.
Flow like water.”
